Beacon Boats are high quality narrowboat builders creating individual bespoke and specification narrowboats 
using traditional materials but with a
modern
approach.
We primarily build for the live-aboard and extended cruising market but also accept orders for pleasure craft, and undertake smaller commissions from bespoke individual items to complete refits for boats already cruising the inland waterways.
As members of the BMF (British Marine Federation) and CBA (Canal Boatbuilders Association) we offer a friendly professional and worry free service to our customers who are invited to be closely involved in the process of their canal boat build. We use an external Recreational Craft Directive examiner for each build to ensure an objective certificate of conformity.
We can build narrow or widebeam, traditional, semi-traditional, cruiser or tug style, with a choice of ports or windows.
Customer involvement and inspection is encouraged throughout.
